Ideal sealing tapes for large containers and bottles to cover wider gaps ensuring a tight seal. They stretch, conform, and seal the irregular perimeter of microplates or Petri dishes. Resist most solvents and caustic agents. Seal remains flexible in moderate freezer temperatures and withstands intermittent exposure to 100 degree C.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Titer-Tops, 6" X 3.25"
Titer-Tops prevents sample evaporation, well to well contamination, external contamination and sample spillage and are made from 4.4 mil polyethylene film with an FDA approved non cytotoxic acrylic adhesive. Each pre-cut rectangular sheet is 6"x3.25" with a paper liner. The center section of the liner measures 5"x3.25" and once it is peeled off it leaves two hand-grip extension tabs on the two ends allowing for easy application of the Titer-Top to the plate.
Titer-tops are chemically resistant and thermally stable and the acrylic adhesive is waterproof, solvent resistant, and compatible with all plastic microtiter plates. They will stay in place even when exposed to 100% humidity and temperatures ranging from -40 degree C to 100 degree C. They are easily pierced with a micropipette tip to provide access to sample wells. Gamma sterile.

Pre-cut adhesive films for micropalte sealing eliminate well-to-well contamination, microbial and viral contamination, evaporation (excluding breathable membranes) and sample spillage. The pre-cut adhesive films fit all microplates and are sterilized by gamma irradiation and free of cytotoxins. Two scored end-tabs make film positioning and removal hassle-free. Pierceable sealing films facilitate easy removal of samples with a pipet tip. PCRSeal™ has a high optical quality, minimal autofluorescence and resists DMSO and organic solvents. It is RNase and DNase free.

Unlike other sealing films in the AlumaSeal group, AlumaSeal CS sealing films are not recommended for PCR or thermal cycling. A single non-perforated end tab simplifies application. Simply hold the tab and strip the backing from the body of the sealing film as it lays on the plate to avoid curling. Dimensions are132.6 x 82.6 mm, including the single 9.5 mm end tab.
