AlumaFoil™ Aluminum Foil PCR Sealing Film, PCR features a specially formulated adhesive that provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation, reduce cross-contamination and prevent spillage. Universal fit for all plate types (e.g. flat-top, raised-rim and non-skirted); the smaller dimensions and rounded corners result in no plate overhang for robotics applications. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Pierceable with a pipet tip or robotic probe for direct sample recovery. 2.0mil aluminum foil removes easily without shredding or tearing. The conformable nature of foil allows for the visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Not recommended for long-term storage.
Alkali Scientific EcoSeal™ Polyester Sealing Film, 100/pk
EcoSeal™ features smaller dimensions and a single non-perforated end-tab to provide a more cost-effective alternative to protect samples from evaporation, external contamination, dust and particulates. Provides a secure seal and is easy to remove. Rigid polyester film features good clarity and easy handling. Can be used as a temporary seal while awaiting further processing.

SealSafe ColorTab™ is an inscribed color-coded end-tab that can be removed and pasted into a laboratory notebook while the other remains on the plate for identification. The film sheet can be removed from the plate without disturbing the identification label due to the finely perforated end-tabs. Provides a secure seal and is easy to remove. AlumaSeal II prevents evaporation, vapor loss, cross contamination, aerosol release and spillage from multiwell PCR or assay plates.This unique sealing foil conforms around individual plate wells to provide a positive and uniform seal. Medical grade adhesive has a thermal stability range of -70?C to 110? C with superior chemical and solvent resisitance. AlumaSeal ll eleminates the need for other types of plate sealing methods such as mats, caps or heat sealers. Pre-cut sheets have a 125 x 82 mm sealing area to fit both skirted and non-skirted PCR plates. Removable end tabs allow quick and accurate positioning over plate wells. Adhesive films are specially designed for use as microplate covers. Prevent sample evaporation and contamination in sensitive PCR applications. SealPlate is polyester based, inert, thermostable and functional from +4?:C to +95?:C. Less than 0.001% moisture permeable under high humidity conditions and less than 0.01% oxygen permeable. ThermalSeal is polypropylene based and RNase/DNase free. It is thermostable and functional from -40?:C to +125?:C at 75% humidity. Supplied with a split backing for accurate plate positioning and secure sealing.
